OBI & DELILAH
"Obi and Delilah are two fun loving and adorable pugs who love people, sunshine, carrots, mandarins and sleeping in. These fur babies are an integral part of our family and there's no activity in which they are not included!" ~ Obi and Delilah's furmum, Caz
NIMBUS & PHOENIX
Nimbus is an energetic ball of love. He loves attention, whether that be from people or other dogs.
Sadly, his scruffy brother, Phoenix, passed away shortly after our session. Phoenix was still a puppy, who enjoyed everything in life (from a leaf, to people, to Nimbus, and then back to the same leaf again!) He was far too young to say goodbye, but the boy lived a damn good life until he did!
CHIPS & PATCH
I first photographed Chips and Patch years ago, when their human brother was just a baby and they had quite a few less white hairs on their gorgeous faces. Chips was still a bit of a lovable nut and Patch was still a total sweetheart!
BASIL & BERNIE
"Basil is a born model. He loves performing especially if there’s a treat involved. He’s not the brightest in the house, but that’s okay because he has his looks to fall back on. He loves snacks, tummy rubs and being a lazy bones.
Bernie is the sweetest little thing and is very attached to me. He is a highly anxious dog - we've never been able to have professional photos taken of him, because he's been so terrified. He is very bright, and cries ALL THE TIME!
My dogs are my children!
They are my world and I’ll do anything for them."
~ Bernie & Basil's Mum, Sally
RAVEN AND MUSHU
"Raven and Mushu are the most loving dogs ever. They make any bad day better as soon as I see their faces light up and their tails wiggling as I open the door when I get home!
Raven was previously living in the backyard, never allowed to go inside the house. We jumped at the chance to adopt her and fell in love immediately. A couple months later we thought it's time to get her a companion!
We spotted Mushu on Pug Rescue Victoria, applied for him and got the call from Joanna within 2 days saying our application fits perfectly. First thing he did in our backyard was a #2 and we knew that was it - he was home!"
~ Raven and Mushu's Mum, Riza
PERCY
"Percy is one of a kind. A gentle soul who welcomes everyone into his life with love. He is the first thing we think about when we wake up and the last thing we hear when we go to sleep...his snoring!
He is the centre of our universe. We know he loves us and we love him!"
~Percy's Mum, Lauren
HENRY AND LOUIE
"Henry and Louie are my world and my two best friends. I take them to work with me everyday and I love them so so much! I would have 10 dogs if my partner allowed me!
Henry is very smart, sensitive, very playful, loving, athletic, great with all dogs and kids.
Louie is timid, sweet, very loving and playful.
It took a couple of months of settling in at the beginning, when Louie was still a puppy, but now they are best of buddies!"
~Henry and Louie's Mum, Camilla
RUBY AND BENNIE
"Bennie was entrusted to us in May 2012. He was surrendered to Pug Rescue, he needed a lot of care and multiple operations before he was ready to be adopted, including losing his right eye.
When he first came to us he was a "bolter" who would run for it if someone opened the front door, he has since settled in well and is much more relaxed.
The day after Bennie arrived to live with us, Ruby joined our home as a puppy. She has a charmed life with Bennie by her side, and bosses him (and the rest of our family) around.
They go on daily walks with their grandparents, and are well known in the neighbourhood. Bennie is laidback and will survey the situation, whilst Ruby is the hustler and will try on different barks and tricks to hustle treats throughout the day."
~ Ruby and Bennie's Mum, Sonja
BUG AND BONBON
"I moved to Melbourne with Bug and Bonbon from the UK 2 years ago. They have travelled far and wide and have adapted to life in Australia. They absolutely love the beach and local Australian cuisine - they are on a kangaroo diet! They both volunteer as pet therapy dogs in an aged care residence as well as in a local hospital and it is amazing to see how they can behave when they are there! They are certainly not like that at home! They grasp life with an unfettered enthusiasm and acceptance that we should all learn from.. I love them dearly."
~ Alicia (Bug and Bonbon's Mum)
TESSA
“Tessa is a working Guide Dog who is very smart and keeps me safe. She has a cheeky personality and is very good at keeping herself entertained if I can’t play with her.
She’s a sweet girl (sometimes a princess). She plays with some dogs but only on her terms. She loved people and is eager to please. When I first met her, I couldn’t resist her big, brown eyes.”
~Tessa’s person, Peggy
LEXI AND LUDO
“I honestly couldn't imagine not having these two. They are the funniest characters and absolutely love breaking the barriers around personal space. As the saying goes "if I fits, I sits". They're cheeky and intelligent and always put a smile on peoples faces.
More often than not we call our dogs by their various nicknames. Lexi is affectionately known and Weggles and shweetums, Ludo is usually Woodo, smoosh or rude dude!
Lexi does have some anxiety issues and loves being around her people, she will always try to be within 2 meters of you - even when in the bathroom. Ludo has a beautiful habit of sitting on top of you and always having to touch you. He's a heavy lap dog! They are the sweetest pair and love to be together.”
~ Lexi and Ludo’s mum, Sherri
