A lifelong animal lover, Caitlin was the kid who “rescued” worms after the rain and dreamed of working with animals. She was just twenty when she started Ragamuffin Photography - not a speck of business experience, but she had a camera round her neck and her dog Lyra by her side.

These days, Caitlin leads the Ragamuffin team behind the scenes, making sure every client (and their pet) has an awesome experience. She lives in Geelong with her husband, their boys Oliver and Brody, their scruffy dog Maple, and Puff the bearded dragon.

Steph first met the Ragamuffin team as a client and loved everything about the experience — the fun, the warmth, and that each dog was treated like family.

Now she’s part of the crew, helping clients plan their sessions and design artwork they’ll treasure. She loves being outside and soaking up with the sunshine with her two dogs, Rocket and Elwood.

POST-PRODUCTION ARTIST

Ashley is the editing wizard behind every Ragamuffin portrait. With endless patience and a sharp eye for detail, she brings each image to life — removing leashes, softening flyaway fur, and adding that final touch of magic.

When she’s not working her Photoshop spells, she’s usually curled up with a good book, a cosy blanket, and her dog by her side.

PHOTOGRAPHER

Megan’s love for dog photography grew from years of working with dogs in boarding kennels and daycare. She’s a gentle soul with endless patience, and her deep understanding of canine behaviour allows her to truly connect with every dog she photographs.

At home, Megan dotes on her distinguished greyhound, Woody, and two cheeky rats, Roo and Pumpkin.

Jaxine has been an animal lover her whole life. After years working as a commercial photographer, she found herself craving more connection and heart in her work.

Now, she focuses on capturing candid, soulful moments that show each dog’s true personality. A proud pet mum to three dogs and four cats, Jaxine brings her happy, creative energy to every session.

PHOTOGRAPHER

With over a decade of experience in dog training and behaviour, Jane brings confidence, skill, and a big dose of enthusiasm to every session. She knows how to read each dog’s body language and create an environment where they can relax and be themselves.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula, Jane is a devoted dog mum to two deaf rescue dogs, Stella and Quinn.
