Lyra's Project ~ Week 19 ~ Street Art ~ Hosier Lane

This year I've joined up with some of my colleagues from the Beautiful Beasties Network (an international group of professional pet photographers) for Project 52, to collectively challenge ourselves and our creativity with a weekly assignment. Every week a different pet photographer chooses a theme, which each person interprets in their own way. The photograph must be taken during that week, and on Friday evening (8pm Aussie time) everyone's blog posts go live. Click the link below to see the next photographer's image and continue around the blog circle until you end up back here - enjoy!

The theme for this week is Street Art - handy, because Melbourne is known as one of the world's great street art capitals. Our city is full of amazing, colourful and creative street art including stencils, paste-ups, murals and graffiti - a colour obssessed girl's heaven.  Lyra, her Grandma and I headed to Hosier Lane, the bluestone cobbled laneway that is one of Melbourne's most famous street art locations. We had to head there after dark, what with daylight savings ending (sigh) but Lyra was sufficiently lit up by the nearby light of Movida.

Head on over Barking Lab Studio, NJ dog photography to see her take on the theme.
