Lyra's Project ~ Week 1 ~ Family

Happy New Year! I hope you a wonderful, relaxing holiday season and that 2013 is a year of joy, health and love for you! This year I've joined up with some of my colleagues from the Beautiful Beasties Network (an international group of professional pet photographers) for the 52 Weeks Project. We've teamed up to collectively challenge ourselves and our creativity with a weekly assignment. Every week a different photographer chooses a theme, that everybody interprets in their own way. The photograph must be taken during that week, and on Friday evening (8pm Aussie time) everyone's blog posts go live. I'm really looking forward to seeing the variety of images that pet photographers around the world - all of them wonderfully creative people whom I respect greatly - capture from a single theme. Sounds pawsome (haha, I went there).

This week's theme is "family". This is mine . . . Johnny and I with our three girls; Lyra, Pan and Ava.

Now head on over to the blog of Heather Gearhart from HMG Photography to see her take on "family": Parkton, MD Pet & Portrait Photographer, HMG Photography. Be sure to click through all the links in our circle until you make it back to Ragamuffin Pet Photography and stop by next week to see our interpretations of the next challenge!
