What happens at the Artwork Appointment?
Decisions on the purchase of any photographs will be made at your Artwork Appointment. We start by viewing a Session Film on the big screen, where you will get to see some of my very favourite portraits from our session. After that, we'll discuss what you have in mind for your Artwork and together we'll narrow down your favourites and design something to suit your home and budget.
Do I have to place my order at the Artwork Appointment?
Yes, so I do recommend that all the decision-makers of the family be present for this appointment. Feel free to reschedule if necessary to ensure everyone can be there!
What are the prices?
Prints start at $75 (small, unframed prints), Wall Portraits start at $350, Albums start at $750, Packages start at $1900 and the USB with everything is $2500. You can view the complete Price List on the website here: https://ragamuffinpetphotography.com.au/products
Can I view the images online instead?
I do prefer to show all the images in person so that you can view them in detail on the big screen, look through samples and so that I can help with any difficult decision making. Not to mention being able to view your Session Film! However, I completely understand that sometimes busy schedules or living far away means that online galleries would work better for you. There is a $100 Online Gallery Deposit, which is applied as a discount to anything that you order.
How do I pick the right size for my wall?
I have invested in a unique visualisation software that takes all the guesswork out of this process by showing you what your images will look like on your OWN wall. To take advantage of this, simply follow these steps:
- Pick some wall spaces that you might want to use
You're welcome to choose lots of potential spaces - don't worry, it doesn't mean we'll be covering every wall with Ragamuffin photos! :)
- Stick an A4 sheet of paper on your wall(s) with sticky tape/blu tack
This is to calibrate the sizes of your wall space into my system. This paper can be anywhere on the wall, it doesn't need to be where you plan to hang.
- Stand straight in front of the wall, as far back as possible, and take a photo
It doesn't need to be perfect! A smartphone picture will do. It's important it's taken straight and not from an angle to the wall.

Just email the photo to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll calibrate it in the system
When will I get my prints?
From completed payment to delivery of your order, it usually takes 4-6 weeks.
Once your order is paid in full, your photographs will go into the Design Stage. This usually takes 1 week - it's where I complete your complimentary Digital Leash Removal, finalise any colours for printing and complete any additional retouching.
I'll send you a link to make sure you're happy with everything, then whisk it all off to my printing partners in Queensland. They usually take 3-4 weeks to complete an order, and I'll be sure to keep you updated along the way.
Once your order is back at the Showroom and all packaged up, I'll send you an email so we can organise courier delivery (usually 1-2 business days for Melbourne metro addresses and 4-5 days for rural Victoria addresses).
Is it possible to organise a Payment Plan?
Absolutely! I offer Interest-free layby plans with Payright. This means you get your photos straight away, but you can take up to 12 months to pay them off.
Do you take Credit Cards?
Absolutely - you can pay with Visa/Mastercard, or by cash or bank transfer
Can I order photographs at a later date?
Of course. Please note that files are kept on the system for 1 month after your Artwork Appointment.
Can I bring my dog?
UMMMMM - of course!!! Dogs are super welcome, any excuse for me to get my cuddle fix in! My little Maple pup *will* attempt to play though, so let me know beforehand if they're not keen on that level of puppy love and I'll pop her in another room with Lyra (my older, grumpy girl) to chill during our appointment.
