Yaya and Fengfeng are two friendly, playful, gentle goldies that I had the pleasure of photographing right in the heart of Melbourne.

The three musketeers - each with totally different personalities, but they all bring so much happiness to their human’s life!

“Ziggy helped mend our broken hearts after we lost our old boy, Milo. When Amber came along, I read all the information about properly introducing dogs - then it all went out the window when they met! Ziggy just rolled over and Amber jumped all over him.

He looked at us deeply with his blue eyes as if to say ‘thank you’. It was the best gift we could have given him - they were instant besties. The first night we tried to keep them separate, but after hours of pining by both we gave in and didn’t hear another peep. They’ve been inseparable ever since - Ziggy is the big protective brother and Amber the fun little sister. They bring so much joy to our family!”

Nimbus is an energetic ball of love. He loves attention, whether that be from people or other dogs.

Sadly, his scruffy brother, Phoenix, passed away shortly after our session. Phoenix was still a puppy, who enjoyed everything in life (from a leaf, to people, to Nimbus, and then back to the same leaf again!) He was far too young to say goodbye, but the boy lived a damn good life until he did!

I first photographed Chips and Patch years ago, when their human brother was just a baby and they had quite a few less white hairs on their gorgeous faces. Chips was still a bit of a lovable nut and Patch was still a total sweetheart!

Layla is a beautiful 18 month old Bernese Mountain Dog. She’s a show dog who brings so much joy to her Mum’s life.
