I met beautiful Gordon Setter, Dougal, and his parents for a session at Mt Eliza Regional Park on the Mornington Peninsula. A strikingly handsome fella, we spent the afternoon exploring the park and summer treated us to beautiful sunshine, bright yellow wattle and blue sky, which all highlighted Dougal’s shiny black fur perfectly.

I am so pleased that I managed to convince his lovely Mum and Dad to get in a couple of the photos with him. People are always so shy to get in front of the camera (I totally get it!) but the sweet family portraits of the three of them turned out to be some of our favourites from the entire session! We even ended up choosing the one of Dougal planting a big ol’ slobbery dog kiss on his Dad’s face as a special canvas print to go on their wall!
