“We were a little apprehensive before adopting Lola, worried that we could not love her as much as Tyrone, that they would not get along and that to fully bond, we needed to meet her in puppyhood.
I could not have been more wrong.
Lola melted our hearts from the moment we met her. She was used as a breeding girl in one of Victoria’s worst puppy mills, and saved by Pug Rescue Victoria. Despite fighting battles that the vet said she should never have won, Lola continues to thrive. She is a constant reminder to be grateful for the moment, to let go of pain and to focus on the good.”
