Lyra's Project ~ Week 7 ~ Happy Face

 This year I've joined up with some of my colleagues from the Beautiful Beasties Network (an international group of professional pet photographers) for Project 52, to collectively challenge ourselves and our creativity with a weekly assignment. Every week a different photographer chooses a theme, which each person interprets in their own way. The photograph must be taken during that week, and on Friday evening (8pm Aussie time) everyone's blog posts go live. This week's theme is Happy Face. And isn't that photo just the happiest face?!?! My girl loves her fluffy toys and she LOVES it when she gets play time with her Mum. She's getting both in this photo and that big goofy grin just makes my heart skip a beat every time.

p.s. geeky sidenote: did you spot the Totoro? Before we adopted Lyra we always imagined that our one-day-dog would be named Totoro, but once we met our girl we realised the name didn't suit her in the slightest! If we ever get to name a big St Bernard or Bullmastiff though . . .
