Lyra's Project ~ Week 2 ~ Seasonal Fun

 This year I've joined up with some of my colleagues from the Beautiful Beasties Network (an international group of professional pet photographers) for the 52 Weeks Project, to collectively challenge ourselves and our creativity with a weekly assignment. Every week a different photographer chooses a theme, which everybody interprets in their own way. The photograph must be taken during that week, and on Friday evening (8pm Aussie time) everyone's blog posts go live. This week's theme is Seasonal Fun, which seems perfectly timed for all the boiling heat we've been experiencing in Melbourne recently. Many of the photographers in this group live in the Northern Hemisphere, so hopefully we'll see some snowy photos to cool us down! In the meantime, Lyra and I had to resort to sharing an icy snack. I fetched us some soy ice cream (neither of us drink milk) and set up the tripod in our backyard, then thoroughly enjoyed myself. My poor bubba seemed a bit miffed that she only got a few licks, she's not really allowed sugar. Oh well, more for me hehe!
