My all time favourite book - my parents read this to me when I was a little girl. Years later, Johnny and I discovered a joint nostalgic affection for Maurice Sendak's Classic. The storybook now sits on a table by our front door and artwork from the tale decorates our hallway. Lyra is our Wild Thing - I'll eat her up, I love her so.

Lyra's Project is an ongoing personal series, and part of Project 52 from the Beautiful Beasties Network (an international group of professional pet photographers). Project 52 exists so that we may collectively challenge ourselves and our creativity with a weekly assignment.
