Where the Wild Things Are ~ Lyra's Project

They were frightened and called him the most wild thing of alland made him king of all wild things.

"And now," cried Max, "let the wild rumpus start!"

Where the Wild Things Are

.......................................................................................................

My all time favourite book - my parents read this to me when I was a little girl. Years later, Johnny and I discovered a joint nostalgic affection for Maurice Sendak's Classic. The storybook now sits on a table by our front door and artwork from the tale decorates our hallway. Lyra is our Wild Thing - I'll eat her up, I love her so.

Lyra's Project is part of a blog ring, so to keep clicking through the links to see each different pet photographer's take on this week's theme: Favourite Book. First up is Massachusetts pet photographer, Blue Amrich.

About Lyra's Project:

Lyra's Project is an ongoing personal series, and part of Project 52 from the Beautiful Beasties Network (an international group of professional pet photographers). Project 52 exists so that we may collectively challenge ourselves and our creativity with a weekly assignment. Every week a different pet photographer chooses a theme, which each person interprets in their own way. The photograph must be taken during that week, and on Friday evening (8pm Aussie time) everyone's blog posts go live. Click the link above to see the next photographer's image and continue around the blog circle until you end up back here - enjoy!
